Agents

In the context of AI agents, the Identities described in this section are the same Identities used throughout the PlainID Authorization Platform. Agents, whether human-assisted or fully autonomous, are governed using the same Identity model, Identity Attributes, and Policy framework as any other actor in the system.

Agents are represented as Identities within the appropriate Identity Workspace, allowing them to participate in Dynamic Groups, inherit Permissions, and be evaluated consistently during Policy decision-making.

This unified approach ensures that human users, service accounts, and AI agents are governed under a single, consistent authorization model.
