    Article summary

To begin the process of automatically discovering policies and objects currently in your third-party application, your authorization policies in the Authorization Platform, verify the following prerequisites:

    • An Orchestration Workspace created within the Environment. See Managing an Orchestration Workspace.
    • Have third-party vendor policies and objects that need to be discovered and managed for more information, see SaaS Policy Management Authorizers.
    • The information necessary to create an Policy Orchestration Point (POP). The POP is the Platform element which connects the Platform to the third party vendor. Once a POP is created, it automatically initiates a discovery to create and map third party vendor tenant policies and objects. Note that you must also have the required credentials with the right permissions to the target system to connect the POP. These credentials are vendor-specific, so refer to SaaS Authorization Management Authorizers for the specific credentials required for your third party vendor. (Customer ID, Customer based URI, and additional vendor-related information)
    • One or more users with relevant Permissions for the Authorization Platform Tenant and/or Workspace.
    • Understanding basic SaaS Authorization Management and the Orchestration Flow.
