# Prerequisites

The following requirements are needed to configure an Amazon API Gateway Authorizer:

- Comfortable level of knowledge of the following interfaces and technologies (and/or access to developers as needed):
  - AWS Management Console
  - Lambdas
  - API Gateway
- Sufficient permissions/roles to create, edit, and publish Lambdas and modify the API endpoints. This lets you assign an Authorization Lambda to an API method.
- A Platform Tenant account (contact our Technical Support team for more information).
- At least one API Resource and Method defined and working on the API Gateway.
- PDP should be accessible from your AWS Environment over https.
